Ok so I'm going to paint my beater blitz black to see if I like it for my TA. Following directions on the can it says for best results mix 10 parts paint to 1 part John Deere paint thinner. Is this what you used? I read somewheres else that they used like Valspar reducer and or hardener. What are your experiences?

Valspar hardner seems to dry it out too quick but yes its good stuff. I'm a painter at the implement company here and my engine bay is in jd primer. Going blitz black. I highly suggest a drill powered mixer or an actual paint shaker. It seperates and is like stirring chewing gum.
