I believe multiple people have already said this, but dentless repair and touch-up or a respray would probably be your best bet. It's especially sad when really well taken care of cars get damaged like this. Best of luck!

That really sucks man, but that is the point of having collision coverage on your car, to prevent this sort of thing from happening. You can't go on thinking, "It'll never happen to me, because I'm a good driver" That's just dumb. Honestly, having collision insurance isn't that much more than liability only. Might as well get it, if only for peace of mind.

And a $1,000 deductible is a lot, you should consider lowering that. $500 at the most, unless you have $1,000 laying around and can readily drop it.

Sure would suck if the persons car who hit you somehow lost all it's oil and caused severe engine damage.

Thought about that the night but the only camera is at the gate and in the gate there are the condos 3 building and about 100 homes and you cant tell which direction the turn off camera. The police don't give a rats *** about a single little car either and they pretty much said **** it when they left that day.

So did you find out if it will be a paintless dent repair or will the 1/4 panel have to sanded down, fixed, and repainted?

Do a paintless dent repair then take it to the body shop. Probably be about $200 to pull it out then another couple to repaint the area.

You will be fine.

I ended up just getting the whole quarter painted, the other car bent the part of the 1/4 where it turns and enters the door jam and chipped a pretty big chunk out of it and it started flaking, I also had some wear along the hatch line that needed to be fixed. It should be out the shop tomorrow with a 600 dollar blow to the wallet, but it'll be fixed and i wont be pissed everytime i walk to my car. Got a fresh decal to throw on and bought a manta scoop decal to lift my spirits for something new and fresh so it doesnt hurt to bad when i look in my bank account lol.

Nice fix and it looks like you got rid of the moldings too. on another note, I have accidently hit someone in a parking lot before and waited 2 hours for them to return to their car. I could only hope someone would do that for me.

Looks great op.

$600 is not bad at all to get dent taken out, whole 1/4 painted and matched.
