Default Fixing plastic cracks

Getting ready to paint my lid and lower airbox. The airbox has a couple cracks, how do I go about fixing them?

find out the kind of plastic it is and get the PROPER adhesive

stuff is called plastic welder and is a two part adhesive. can be bought anywhere.this is the best adhesive to use!

Anybody know what kind of plastic the lower airbox is?

just use the plastic welder on any plastic. rough up the work area,use a adhesion promoter and your go to go!

I used it on many different kinds of plasic! just use the adhesion promoter! what do you have to lose!

trouble is not all plastic is the same......used some 2 part stuff from wal mart on my headlight housing and it worked great.......same stuff on my door panel just flaked off.......proper glue for the proper plastic.....nuff sed

For something nonstructural like the airbox lid, any general plastic epoxy should do well. Definitely use adhesion promoter and get one that's flexible(semi-rigid) so it doesn't crack again. Reinforcement tape is also highly recommended
