Default How much to repaint front end?

My front end is really bugging me. I am able to remove all the scratches out with my porter cable 7424 but it makes the rock chips stand out more. How much should I expect to pay to have my hood, headlights and front bumper repainted? Since I was going to go with black again, is it necessary to have it blended in?

Thanks!

I just re-painted my hood, front bumper, drivers fender and rocker. Materials was almost $400, with the body work and paint retail for mine would have been around $1600 at our shop.

Depends on the color, depends how much damage, prep, paint. SOME has done just per say a bumper or head lamps if it was white, red, black, but once you get into metallics you need to blend. I know over half my car got paint when doing my hood. As they did the hood, bump, head lamps, fenders and blended into the doors.

you can't get away with a wet sand? Then a good buff and wax...I'm hoping I can just get away with that. I have a blk car as well.

IF you can catch a scratch with your fingernail, its gone too deep to ever really fix by buffing / leveling the clear out. Thats why people need to check paint depth and decide how much they wish to cut and what they would happy with.

Its not going to be cheap, i look at it this way,if you drive your car ,rock chips etc are going to happen, unless the front end is super bad with cracks, major chips etc i wouldnt worry about it,when i got my new hood painted i had a rock chip within a week, i was even thinking of getting that clear film to protect the front end, its up to you though man but i can tell you depending where you go it could be close to or over 2 grand, pending on color /blending etc,

I have some spider-cracking and a deep scratch too on the front bumper. Scratch the idea. How much to repaint jus' the front bumper and headlight covers then?
