Default Color Change

Well after searching with no luck i decided to paint the car Inferno Orange Metallic, never seen it on a 4th gen but always liked the color. I'm using Spies Hecker Hi-Tec waterbourne basecoat, which is what we use on the Mercedes we fix, its expensive but i know some people . Now for pics, should be done by the end of the week.

Thanks , the clear is Spies Hecker high solids 8035 i believe. The last time i painted it 4 years ago we used Glasurit in the shop and they put a medium solids clear on it which constantly had to be polished to keep up, the high solids should stay shiny forever like factory paint. I will do the engine bay when i pull the motor this winter. This is what i do for a living.

You and me both, too busy at work today to finish assembly, but got some polishing done. Hoping to be done by the weekend.

Wow! You're doing some amazing work, man! I wish that I could take my car apart and then put it back together like you're doing! Keep up the great job!
