Default What To Do - What To Do

Try and make a long story short. Quite awhile ago bought the '02 Firehawk for my brother, plans were to fix it up the best we could to make it reliable again. Was a salvage title, and it was cheap, brother needed a car so I bought it.

He had a front end collision pretty much right where the driver fender and front bumper meet. Got an estimate from a recommended shop through my mechanic for $2000. Replace the fender, rack it because it isn't straight anymore, front bumper, fix/repair stress cracks in the hood, and all the other things that need doing.

The problem is, I won't get much return selling it as is, nor if I part it out as I cannot verify mileage on the motor, trans need to be rebuilt, whole car needs paint, needs new/replacement interior pieces...

Never had an instance like this so need opinions and/or recommendations...
a)Fix it, keep it, then just work on all the mechanical issues and go from there.
b)Fix it then sell it
c)Try and sell as is
d)Junk it out for parts
Or?

I appreciate any advice provided.

I knew it would be difficult to get any money out of it now that it is wrecked... Probably could have gotten almost my money back had the accident not happened.

Don't junk it out, fix it and keep it or fix it and sell it.

Its getting fixed, just to the point to make it drivable again. Any guides on how to plan a restoration type project that any of you have used?
