Question Question about water born paint...

I had a part painted and the body shop used water born paint. If or when I ever decide or need to have it repainted can water born be repainted over with any type of (solvent) paint of does it have to be water born again?

You will be good to go. Water based uses mostly water as the transport element to get the paint to flow and it is way better for the environment once it flashes off and evaporates. Where solvent based uses just that, solvents to get the paint to flow and when it flashes off harmful compounds (VOCs) are released. Once the paint dries its essentially all the same. That was probably way more than you needed though!
