what color would look best with stainless steel inserts?

what color would look best with stainless steel inserts? I have a red 99 SS camaro and I recently purchased the stainless steel insert letterings for the back from emblem pros, Love em 
however can't decide on wether or not to paint the back panel Black or keep it red 
Some are saying to keep it red and put the letters in and others say definitely black. Any advice or opinions so I can finally make up my mind?
