Interesting, i herculined the bumpers and snorkel on my xj (cherokee) but never thought about lining the whole car. Its tough stuff though, i accidentally backed up into a tree-(no reverse lights and the 5% tint in the back window makes it hard to see at night) i dented the tree and there wasnt even a scratch in the lining

The only place herculiner belongs is floor pans, wheel wells, and of course truck beds. WTF? over.

Now THAT is different... You should build a brush guard for the front, put all terrains on it, and make it a zombie apocalypse car

Seriously, it's different. For a beat up old v6 Firebird, I say hell yeah. Can you say "**** CARWASHES"?

I'd do it no problem. I plan on doing it to my DD since the paint is all faded and the clear is coming off.

My question is, how does someone buy TWO V6s, then do the same terrible paint job on both?

Because he had the cash to buy two cars and dared to be different?

Interesting. That would slow airflow across the car at high speeds. I guess that could be somewhat practical if you have onery dogs or kids who are always on your car. Also a fun conversation starter at a car show. You'll definitely get alot of WTF? reactions. I don't hate it, but I would definitely not do it to my car.

Wow, this forum is hating on someone who made his car his own. Someone who builds his car around what other people think is someone who has no confidence in his own taste. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. To insult someone is entirely different. What a poor representation of a forum. Good on you for being different. Enjoy your car.

I bow out of this forum. Take it easy everyone.

It is very different. Although I don't hate it, I wouldn't do it to my car either. I do think it'd look a little better if it had slightly less texture like some of the products I've seen.

I'll admit when I first saw this thread a while ago I avoided it, because I knew where it was going to end up. After seeing it bounce back to the top a few times, curiosity got the better of me and I clicked on it. Having said that, I don't think it is half bad. Not 100% my taste but something I may try on a beater.

OP, great job for being different. Screw all the others who say you ruined the car. At least you have some originality. Unlike others who simply follow the crowd (CETA bandwagon). It's only a car, a v6 one at that. Not like it's one of 100.
