it weighs as much as the can of paint it came in. do you really think his gas mileage is gonna suffer from driving around with a can of paint? seriously?

It's not the weight, it's the drag from the rough texture. Still, I doubt it'll do much.

Guys what that guy said about drag was a joke. You really think someone would think a horrible paint job is going to effect performance? Unless you painted the car with Lead.

As another said, Plastidip would have given a similar look with a better texture IMO.....all while being removable.

Plasti dip scratches/peels so easily and when it does your pretty much boned. This is also fully removable. It's scratch and chip resistant not invincible.

Plasti Dip is Stronger then you think. They also make repair kits for Fully Dipped Cars. Not a fan of what you did but more power too you for trying something new.

Trust me i know how strong plasti dip is, I use it on all my wheels, just saying when it does start to peel, unless u catch it when it's really small it's all comin off. Plus plasti dip doesn't fill dents and dings, it pronounces them if anything, The herculiner filled it all in, can't tell this thing was beat with a baseball bat anymore :O

I've seen the mustang around town, and my buddy sent me a pic of the firebird recently at Walmart. I had to take a double take at the Mustang, it doesn't look that bad in person. Unique, I guess.

Actually, I respect the fact that he doesn't give a $#!t what everyone else thinks.

Oh u live in town? Funny because I saw your buddy taking a picture of my car at Wal-Mart on Rangeline, his Dad or Grandpa was with him hehe. The guy who I sold the Mustang to trashes the vehicle so I guess it's good for him that it's on there.

This looks good on 4x4s but on a Firebird not a fan at all its kinda like dumbasses that put 4x4 frames under Any F-body!!!!! Just Ghetto in my opinion Some flat black Epoxy primer would be better on the bird!!
