Interesting. Maybe someday if I have a BPM ws6 or SOM Hardtop Formula Hawk, I'll do the same thing!

Including all Materials about $200. It's not that expensive at all. Was a cheap redo of the chipped, peeling, and faded paint that was on there. And I rolled it on.

Exactly. Not my cup of tea, but definitely easy to maintain.

Suspicious first post....

I have seen this done on Jeeps and Trucks and it def. is a head turner. Would I personally do it on a car? Probably not but it is your vehicle and everyone has different tastes. Don't let the masses get you down.

There are a lot of better options for a swap than a v6 firebird. WIthout the looks of a Trans Am or SS with a ls1 drivetrain, the 4th gen fbody has few redeeming factors. It would cost as much to convert a v6 to have those attributes as it would to just buy the right car.

Id rather have that than a v6 4th gen with a bird painted on the hood. Awful lot of people getting butthurt about a throw away car thats immune to scratches and dings.

Ive seen it don't to trucks and Jeeps before. Never a car though.
It really doesn't look toooo bad. I wouldn't do it to anything I own, but kudos for being the first (and likely last LOL)

The contrast with the shiny windows and tail lights throws the whole look off. It would flow better if you did the windows and lights, too...

You guys are such dicks. It's just a dime a dozen V6 Firebird. I think it looks crappy but if the OP likes it that is all that matters.

Just because it's a V6 Firebird doesn't take away from the fact it looks horrible.

It's the OP's car and if he is happy with it that's all that matters. I understand he didn't ask for anyone's opinion but what was the point of making the thread? I mean did he think was going to happen?

Ls1tech is a rough crowd.
