Default Pinch Weld Fixes/Straightening out?

I've read over the last few years on here of how many of us have the infamous bent pinch welds (fender tabs as some call them)

I was wondering if there is a "professional" way of getting them back to like brand new? It really ticks me off, and even tho it's underneath the car I'd still want it fixed.

Has anyone gone thru the proper efforts to get this fixed the proper way?

I just did this on mine. Slowly bend the lip back straight with duckbilled vice grips only to the point you can get the fender bolts off with a box end wrench. You may want to use a heat gun first and heat the lip first. Reason is that the fender will possibly crack since it has been bent over for awhile. Heat will let the fender "relax" a bit. Once fender is loose, work the pinchweld straight with the vice grip. Heat the fender lip til quite warm and slowly work it back til straight. Tip, use a blow gun on the hot fender lip as you hold it straight and hit it with cool air...this will "set" the fender in the straight position much quicker. Bolt fender back up.

I used vise grips and a crescent wrench. But yes, make sure you at least unbolt the fender first.

I heard those lip pads dont work worth a ****, plus I'd have to do some modifying to fit them on the LS1 car (the screw holes I heard are NOT the same between LT/LS cars, even tho they are present)

Does anyone here have pictures of their fixed pinch welds??
