I am wondering if there is a part number on the bumper itself or a way to determine whether or not a bumper is OEM or aftermarket. I will be taking mine off tomorrow due to some fitment issues and am curious to know if it is original or not.

I'd imagine that it would be on the inside somewhere. I *think* the part number is 10248139.

i have 94 in the shop now for a front bumper replacement. we have ordered two from gm dealer, both came in looking like after market junk. the stamp on them was factory but the made in mexico part was grinded off. it just said made in ______. not to mention it didnt fit good at all! we are waiting on the third one now.

I see this is an old post, but has anyone purchased an after market front bumper for their 93-97 camaro, and how did it fit, thickness and quality. There is a big difference in price for both..
