2003 gmc sierra stepside swap is it possible to put a regular 6.5 foot bed in place of a step side? like is the frame different or anything? the truck is an 03 stepside and i hate stepsides and have an 05 regular 6.5 foot bed laying around... any help?

that makes it a short bed right? It should bolt right on, the only thing that changes is the gas tank neck, you would need the shorter one.
