That's not the point. The point is this half-assed hack of a painter didn't even take the time to mask it off. Were not talking serious time involvement here - it literally would have taken 15 seconds to cover both sides with something as simple as a bag.

I'm also wondering why the ground effects and the front bumper were primered ON the car?

i get what ur saying, but youd be surprised how easy it is to forget about the pipes. especially on a low car like his. and you get what you pay for. all that taking parts off cost. maybe it wasnt included.

I have never forgot to mask something off like that.....thats second nature to isolate the surface being painted. I would be very unhappy!

good googly moogly that car has been messed up badly. He may have fixed it with primer for the most part I wouldn't doubt that it will look terrible in a matter of months. I hope he's giving you some sort of guarantee because you are going to need it. Please get your car out of that shop asap!

Oh man....I would give them opportunity to fix it as long as you are NOT paying for their mistake. If they do not fix it, I would definitely find a good attorney or at the very least take them to small claims court depending on which would be best for you.

I really wish you the best of luck.... that poor car....
