I just had to have my front bumper repainted on my 1999 z28 that someone backed into. First repainted on my car ever. I had conversation about wanting it properly painted so it would not chip. I was assured. I have 5 small pen head chips in 6 weeks and I had no paint chips on it before the repaint. I am taking it back but what could they be doing wrong. They used my oem cover and sanded and primed because the white primer is shining thru.

Bad quality paint and/or too much paint is my best guess.

How do I question their quality of paint? They are using sherwin Williams I did ask that.
