i have an ls6 intake and some fuel rail covers off a ls1 vette. I'm going to sand and paint and clear coat all of it.. the whole 9 yards. also on the fuel rail covers i wanted to put trans am door overlays on them along with the bird like that goes on the sail panels. so here are the two ideas i have going right now

glossy red intake with black covers with silver lettering. (my car is black with the silver lettering and also has red calipers) and ideas will be considered so what do you think?

if you do the silver lettering on the red, put a nice black outline on the letters so the colors
are easier seen

 

if i do silver letters it will be on black covers and black letters if on red covers

 

I would go with black covers, silver lettering, and a silver intake.

Here is a pic of my Metallic Silver ls6 intake. Not a T/A, just visual help. IMHO silver > red on the intake.

 

just make sure to clear over the decals.

 

instead of doing decals have some stencils cut & paint them, then clear.
