Yeah I could see auto guys keeping the cup holder, in a manual they are completely absurd lol

Can't say I've ever had the ashtray open while I was shifting into 3rd gear.

I think it looks weird without the cup holders. Just looks too plain, and that something is missing from the console.

Sleeve gets caught in it if you have a short shifter, happens all the time with my uniform or jackets.
