Default Painting Rims,

Have finished polishing the barrels, carefully gave the spokes a light sanding with some 600 w/d and then washed them off and masked the rims. It will be a couple of days before I paint, can I use acetone to clean the rims or will it dissolve the masking take?

No idea if acetone will dissolve the tape or not. I always just use rubbing alcohol and never have a problem.

Alcohol leaves a residue behind. I would wipe on wipe off wax and grease remover.
