Use a red paint pen for the FAST text. And there is no need for high temp paint. The intake will never get hot enough to justify it.

I used paint designed for plastic. You get better adhesion.

Ive done a few and the easiest way I found was to use whatever paint you liked. Then get another can of red, a paper plate and a foam paint brush. Just spray the red paint on the plate to make a pool of paint and then dab the foam brush. Use the brush to gently fo over the fast lettering.....works perfect every time

I've never had good luck with the paint pen. It rubs off eventually or severly fades. The way I said dries like any other paint and at the end of it all I usually throw a coat of clear over to protect it all. Heres how mine looks done with that method. With the larger letters on the 102 or even doing the "92" on the older intake i dont think a paint pen will be the easiest.

not the best buy you get the idea.

You remember what exact color/brand you used to paint your FAST? Your car is Pewter, correct? How close is the match?

ya man, I used the duplicolor paint match cans you get at advance or wherever. The pewter looked like it was going to match like crap, way too gray. This color is light sand drift metallic, also a gm color. Its the color used on the C5 magnesium wheels which I run on my car and its a much better match at least in a can to pewter. I happened to have some leftover from touching up a wheel chip or two and thought it matched pretty well for the intake lol
