I have my engine bay stripped and ready to prep and paint. I will be using a lvlp gun to spray the base and clear to match the arctic white exterior. How many quarts of base and clear would you expect I would need to paint the engine bay? I haven't settled on a brand or quality yet but we can use Sherwin Williams Dimension line for sake of this discussion.

How much base and clear would it take to do a typical trans am front bumper and headlight covers?

Any tips or pointers?

You really should be able to do all of what you have mentioned with a quart of base/clear, depending how well the base covers.

Agreed. Should be good with a quart.
