Default THANKS MARK 6LE!!! New cf sail panel pics

Bad *** old friend!
It's actually very subtle IMHO, looks great and I'm thrilled how it turned out, thanks buddy!
The installer said that it fit perfect, absolutely no modifications required, it fit like factory.

Anyway, here they are:

Anyway my body guy said that this was the best aftermarket piece he's ever worked on, it fit perfectly, no modifications required, it took no time once he glued it on.
Thanks old friend!

About a year ago. I found the Alcoa Z06 wheels and had them painted the darker Z06 color and put them on.

anyway, the darker Z06 wheel color goes real well with the cf sail panel and grill...now I just need to wash my ******* car LOL!!!

Yes sir that's cf as well, I just wanted the factory plastic cover on there.

He did an excellent job. the cost was cheaper due to not having to modify the piece, as it fit perfectly.
No muss, no fuss, once he did the measurements it was spot on with the factory sail panel measurements, he was quite surprised, it took less than half the time that he thought it was gonna take.
I'm pleased.

If I could be nosy, what did the body shop charge you? I've had a new sail panel in my garage for 2 years and I'm curious as to what they charged to replace it.

Thanks guys!

Nathan, I went to the Chevy dealer and they quoted me $2K just for labor.

I called another reputable shop and he said that the sail panel R&R is considered "custom work" and would be $2K as well...MINIMUM

My friend hooked me up with an OUTSTANDING body guy that does his work in his garage, he's a fantastic painter. He charged my buddy's dad $13K to paint his LS6 factory matching #'s 70 Chevelle, came out stunning.
STUNNING.
He's booked to the end of the year and he squeezed me in in between the weeks that he had someone cancel on him.
Cost?
$600 bucks.
I was ******* LUCKY!!!
And again, he charged me cheap due to the quality of the piece and not having to any type of modification to make the cf sail panel fit.
Good luck.

Looks great. This is still on my list of things to get from 6LE. My build is kind of on hold right now though.

$2k is crazy! My local body shop charged me $700. Like stated above - since the new sail panel didnt need any modifcation or extra work.
