Default Convertible Firebird quarter panels questions NEED HELP

I crashed my car due to a deer last friday and luckily i just ended up bouncing off the guard rail.. I read on here that quarter panels are attached to the unibody, my car is a drop top so I was wondering if it was the same for mine. I can see the lines where it looks like its, its own part. I also looked online and seen when i go to order one brand new it gives me two options, one for hard tops and another for convertibles. Will i still have to bring my car to a shop and have them tell the people I'm buying the quarter panel from where to cut it? or is the option for drop tops and hard tops already that?

Yes your quarter panels are welded (and part of) the unibody. Aside from the trim piece that surrounds the top i don't see how itnwouod be different. But if a website lists a different one for convertibles, I'd get that.
