My driver side lower door seal worked itself loose last year and we pulled the remainder off. The passenger side is just starting to do the same now. I've ordered replacement seals, but what is the correct compound to remove the old adhesive from the door and clean the surface?

 

Where did you get the seals? My passenger side started coming off and I pulled it a while back, so I need to do them one day.

 

I ordered a pair of PN 10247013 from gmpartsgiant.com. They were about $40/ea, but not knowing whether that PN would disappear soon, I bit the bullet.

 

I never even thought to look for stock as so much isn't there. I'm gonna have to put an order in quick also. Thanks.
