Default need some paint guidance

looking to try and "fix" my delaminating tails, I have the decals to go over the "lighted" sections of the tail, I know to sand the lens, then wipe it down, add the decals, paint, my question is when I remove the decals what should I do after i remove them and get ready to shoot the clear, make sure that any oils, or whatever may have gotten on the lens from my fingers from removing the decals, just wipe the lens down again after the paint has dried? Thanks

Default Cleaning

Denatured or isopropyl alcohol are great cleaners/degreasers for painted and plastic parts. I also like to use aerosol glass cleaner in my prep stages as well. Plastic can make static and combined with prepsol /wax & grease remover can ignite.
