Default Install pics of a 2000 Camaro mini tub?

I have looked at hundreds of posts for some pics of gen 4 mini tubs. Does anyone know of a link or have pics? Looks like most guys are NOT doing tubs. I am going to install a narrowed rear and I have some 9" wheels that I want to use that have a 3.5" backspace. Don't know if that's possible with the LCA's. Thanks

I made my own mini tubs as I can't stand the traditional hard 90 degree edge of most tubs. At the top trimming back the body to the frame rails i have 14" width between the lip of the wheel well and the frame rails. Yes i did trim the coil spring mount, and I'm running coilovers.

Those are nice tubs. I was just getting ready to ask where you got them---and then I saw your post at the bottom. Thanks for the pics. Wish I could make those. That's a lot stronger. What gauge material is that. I was just out measuring where to cut on mine. I am going to use coilovers and use the stock mounting holes. Is that what you are doing? Any tips??? I tubbed my GTO, but it has been a while. Thanks again.

I used 16 ga as by the time you're done with grinding and such you can end up a lot thinner. I am using the factory upper shock locations for my coilovers to mount.

I second that. I do like how those are not 90’d at the edge. Looks much cleaner. Are you going to attempt to run the factory panel back on there or just carpet over that?

No panels probably just carpet or paint. #racecar lol. Panels would probably work with some trimming.
