Hello all, 1994 formula here with the high rise spoiler hatch. The molding “lace” that runs along the bottom of the hatch glass is missing and there is a gap full of old weather stripping adhesive between the glass and deck lid. I can’t find that molding anywhere and I don’t care to make even more of a glue mess if I could find it.
have any of you guys filled this area in with black caulk or black urethane? Any ideas or recommendations?

A guy online fills these gaps on busses with black urethane caulk. Some recommended silicone but I think the edges on silicone won’t be as good.
