Once and for all what is rear quarter panel made of (93-02 fbody) So many conflicting opinions on what our body panels are made out of…I’m going to be repairing some damage on the rear quarter panel on my 95 z28 so do I use regular Bondo or an SMC filler ? Thanks in advance

There is no conflict about the construction material for the rear quarters - it is metal (steel). This not a matter of opinion, I have done rust repair on this panel (on my previously owned '02 Z28), I am certain it is metal. With that said, several panels on the car are in fact made of SMC or other plastic/composite materials, but the rear quarters are most definitely metal.
