Good Evening!

As ive been rerouting and painting my engine bay I keep coming back and staring at the Hood Strut Bracket.

Car has a lift off cowl hood so the brackets aren’t being used. Anyone ever remove them? Is it as easy as taking an air hammer and removing them or is the more to it?
