Default Windshield Trim Replacement

Does anyone know if I need to pull the glass off to install the windshield trim for a 2002 Camaro TTop car? The body shop fucked up the old trim and I had a huge gap on my pillars. Looks like new trim will solve that issue.

If the glass doesnt need to be pulled off, is there any tricks to getting it on?

So I had my t tops out today and I was looking at mine. Glass does not need to come out from what I saw. If I were to do it I would get some sort of plastic tool and start working it over the glass. I would start in the corner and either work down or across. I can take a picture of mine tomorrow when I pull it out again.

The windshield had to come off to get the trim on properly. Uncovered a bunch of issues caused from the body shop, but nonetheless it is installed proper now and fits great
