That sucks about the bad fit. If something can be done about the fit that piece will look outstanding in carbon fiber.

edit: I just came across that teaser pic. Looks damn good.

its to bad about the quality of the piece, these would have been a nice alternative for those of us with black camaros wanting a berger panel.

About $125-$150 more but would be worth it if it fit correctly and the finish was top notch, which judging by the other pieces he has made, I'm sure it would look great.

How much was that piece? I was looking at getting mine wrapped but if the actual piece itself wasn't to much money I could go that route. The fitment issues only look obvious up close and I'd be willing to bet 90% of the people on this forum wouldn't have noticed the gaps had you not take close up pics and pointed them out. As a matter of fact, instead of them saying "wow, what crappy fitment", they'd be saying "damn where can I get one". PM me a link if you don't mind my friend

Since no one else is making them and it's on Ebay, I guess it's OK to post here. Their Ebay ID is: aero_parts. Don't see one listed right now, but I think there contact info is on there.

Yeah but his would just be an overlay and it would be $150 more? That one was made completely out of Carbon Fiber. I don't see anyway you could have an overlay for that panel and have it actually line up with the rest of the car. To me for the "overlay" to be of decent quality and hold its shape with out breaking in shipping and fitment it would need to be at least 1/8-1/4 thick and at that point it would stick out like a sore thumb as it would be that much higher than the rest of the car. This is just my opinion. I wonder if on a black car one of these complete replacement ones might look good because the black would hide the gaps. I've thought about doing a flat black panel on my car but its very subtle and hardly noticable. I think carbon fiber would look good but i'm not paying $400 for one especially an overlay. For that place it needs to be a complete replacement.

I'm sorry, I just don't get the carbon fiber thing. Your panel doesn't look that bad, but the carbon fiber look, as a whole- I just don't get it.

why would the gap between the quarter panel and the tailight change, the tails are mounted to the rear/qtr panel and not the filler panel and is this just cf overlayed on a stock piece or a whole new piece?

Its a whole new piece. I don't know about you guys but my stock piece doesn't fit that well as it is. I know its been off a few times but still it doesn't fit well and takes some work to get it on and adjusted to have decent gaps.

If Josh made the overlay it would be a solid carbon fiber piece that laid over it. It would not be a sticker, i'd be real carbon fiber. He'd line it up on an OEM piece and if he screwed up 4 pieces he'd do it a 5th on eto make sure it was perfect.

Bryan, thanks for the ebay ID.
