I took the calipers off and sanded with a grinder all the rough casting off and then used 220 on orbital sander and made it nice and smooth. Then used High-Temp Engine paint from Eastwood 351634ZP universal gloss red and you have to add a urethane activator but the finished product looks great and should stand up to the heat generate by the braking action.

Nice, I just ordered new rotors so i'll be doing this while i'm swapping them.
