Default antenna solution

dakota digital sells an antenna that mounts in your car. I,m guessing it could go in-dash?

I know some Fiero guys did this and they put the antenna under the fender (since the antenna was on the fender) but they still got good reception so idk how hard it would be to route the antenna up to the front fender but hey *shrug*

No offense but the intake you made and the stereo are both 100 percent ghetto in my opinion.

I asked my Grampa the same thing. He's been in the bodywork business for YEARS in Wisconsin. He recommended roughing the surface on top and on bottom. Hold a piece of cardboard underneath the hole and apply BondoGlass long to the top. Hold the cardboard for a bit and when it's kinda hardened pull the cardboard out. Then apply the BondoGlass to the bottom. This'll be the route I'll take, but I'm gonna put a piece of metal window screen before I put the bottom filler on. That should give it a little bit more strength. Swat

Default welding

If you have any friends that work at a muffler shop or body shop, talk to them.

I'm sure if you had the filler metal already cut out, and everything cleaned up and ready to weld the new piece in there (gotta do this anyway, even with the glass), and a couple of beer for persuasion, I'm sure they will tack the pieces in for you. I shouldn't take them 30 seconds for the first tacks, beer break, and about another 30 seconds for the second tack fill. Just take your grinder with you and grind, that way you're actually working too and not watching them do work on your car. I love HELPING people with their cars, it's the ones who ask's for help, n then stand there and don't do **** is the one's that get's charged!

Just be sure to take them a spare piece of that filler metal so they can get their mig welder set up. You don't want someone setting the welder up on the car!!!

As far as anteanna, I'm still listening to CD's with my gettho ratio that plays CD's just as good as any.

If you do that the bondo glass will shrink and expand at different rates than the metal will, after time of being in the sun it will pop through the paint and you will see a halo of where the bondo glass is.... best way is to just weld it if you have access to a welder.

ClassicIndustries sells a magnetic antenna you can mount anywhere. I have heard that the reception isn't that bad either.

So basically no one has figured out which antenna is used to have radio reception, without the antenna? Looks great but i kinda would like to listen to the radio.
