advice on the engine bay

alright guys ..... whats the best way to paint an engine bay ..... iv got a lot of chips and paint flaking off and im just trying to get it looking good under the hood so help me out here guys thanks .

Take every thing off that you can. I pulled all the wiring back and did the whole engine bay. Turned out very nice.

I used base coat/clear coat. With a spray gun. I will put a pic up in a sec.

I did mine last year. Filled in all the holes and smoothed out the strut towers. Used basecoat only as to keep the original factory flat look(it's a black car). Mine may have been a little easier than some as I've removed a LOT from the engine bay. AC gone, !wire mod, !hood latch cable, etc.
