Default hourly rates

This is for anyone in the body business or anyone that recently had repairs done, im around pittsburgh and paint labor is about 42, frames 45 to 60 depending, and body is 42, everyone says places like florida and california u make a lot more per year workin in a shop, i dont understand how unles the labor rate is a lot higher can anyone chime in on this

Labor in CA for resto type work is 90-100 an hour, here 50-60. I do this type of work but for much less and drink all the beer I want during hours lol!

I charge 50 an hour for whatever in the shop unless it's something itchy like fiberglass repair or carbon fiber fabrication. Then it's 80-100
