Alright guys... need ya :/

Was hoping i would never have to post in this section but.

My car was hit and run in my freshman parking lot in the rear pass. side quarter panel. My insurance doesnt cover unless i find out who did, talked to the campus public safety and they are going to look at the cameras.
Just seeing if i could save a trip to a bunch of body shops and not get ripped off. How much would it be to fix?

*sigh* :< if i had the money to fix it i wouldnt be as sad :/

pardon the excessive dirt, its been snowing on/off past few weeks and i dont want to wash it and get snowed on again

you should be looking at less than $1000.00 possibly less than $500 . At my shop we give customers a break on price if they are paying for it out of pocket. Hopefully you can find a shop in your area that will do that for you too. Good luck

Make sure you tell the shop it was a hit and run and your paying out of pocket, they are human ( most of them ) and will be able to understand...

Does anyone think that would have messed up the rear drivetrain a little? It sounds a little different than it usually does =( it could be just me though

Who do you have insurance with? That sounds like a load of BS to me. I think they have to cover it after you get the police report. I would think that the burden of solving the crime would fall on the police, not the victim!

yeah, you should look at full coverage as it covers both no insurance drivers and random stupid people.
