Default front fender material?

Are the front fenders from a 98+ camaro made from friberglass or plastic? Basically what I want to know if I can fix one that has a crack in it. Not broken apart just cracked? thanks

I use Lord Fusor 2 part epoxy for cracks. You have to v the crack and use a fiberglass screen looking mesh on the back. Its like 20 for the tube, but you have to have their applicator gun, which is 50... so not worth it unless you'll use it more than once. The meshing is like 10 a roll. Almost better off finding one not cracked.

Agreed with GD, it can be fixed but I would encourage you to get one from a junkyard and repaint it. This is coming from a guy that fixes alot of plastic parts, and as a matter of fact repaired a camaro fender with a split not 4 days ago. It can be done, it does work, but if possible I like to replace since the repairs are never as good as the rest of it. I have used almost all of the different lines of repair products and U-pol seems to be the best IMO.
