Default They Totaled it.

I put a post on here about 2 weeks ago about my hydroplanning accident. Well they finally called me back and totaled it out. Not to worry I found a 2001 TA WS6 that I bought last night. It is black. but ohwell. Guess it happens.

Nothing is wrong with it!! Faster than u would think. It came with a hurst short shifter and I added my stage 2 jet chip. That is the only thing the insurance would let me take off of the car!!!! Havn't took it out to try it yet will in a little bit though. Will let you know how it is running. If any of ya have some advice about exhaust pm me. Will also have pics up tommorrow!!!

I didnt think u could get a jet chip for an LS1, i just always thought u could just use a power tuner. ??????

I have never seen a chip for a LS1. Only handheld tuners, laptop program or a dyno tune to adjust the PCM.

Nope they made chips for them also.
00-02 5.7L LS1/Manual 6 Spd Stage 2 (10015S) That is the number of the chip. it bolts directly into you ecm right by the pass side firewall. runs about $350.

Stage 2-Designed for the performance enthusiast, the Stage 2 features more aggressive programming to make the most horsepower and torque available. Fuel and timing curves are extensively modified for peak performance and drivability. Requires use of 91 octane fuel, 180 degree thermostat and free flow exhaust. Also works well with aftermarket intake systems, mass air sensors, TBI spacers, etc
