Default About how much should I plan on spending?

A few years ago I rearended someone and got the front bumper cover and fender replaced with pre painted aftermarket ones off of ebay. We'll I've never been happy with the way it looks. I bought a OEM bumper cover and fender and want to get them painted and put on. The bumper has a small crack in it at the side of where the turn signal goes. Is this going to be repairable? How much do you think I should be looking to spend to get that fixed and get them painted and put on? I know there's a million threads on here asking how much things will cost and it always varies but am looking at a ballpark figure here because I know we have some bodywork specialist on here. Thanks for the help guys. Also anyone know of some decent body shops near Shreveport, LA?

It's always hard to give a general estimate, simply because every shop is different. Ballpark though - I'd guesstimate 1k TOPS. At the very least, drive her down to a shop and ask for a quote. Make double sure you see some of the shop's body work before you proceed. If you don't feel like you trust the shop, you'll probably get fucked in the end.

I went around and got a few quotes. Best price I could find around here was $900. That's to fix a small crack in the new bumper cover, paint it and the fender, blend the hood and the door so the colors match, and put all of it back on. That's a little more than I wanted to spend but I guess it will be worth it to have my car looking good again.

If the are going to paint the door too, make sure that they remove the door handle, lock cylinder and moldings and emblems. If they don't do this take it to a shop that does. Not doing it this way may save some money but it will look like **** if you dont. The clear has a potential of leaving masking tape lines as well as it could peel around the trim if the can't sand close enough to it. I agree with dragframe $900.00 is not a bad price at all, it mayeven be to cheap. You get what you pay for. Good luck
