I would do it. It looks really good on a pewter car. I have been thinking about doing mine also. I think it would look best with gloss black.

Looks good on Pewter. To hhell with that shop though. If the guy thinks your project is dumb he is not going to put his best effort into it.

Go somewhere else and get it dont. Then go do a burn out in his parking lot!

I did mine gloss black and kept my other panel painted Pewter in case I didn't like it. Gloss is good IMO it matches the roof and you can wax it. Painted mine 2 yrs ago with a spray can and spray clear and quite a bit of polishing. I think it makes the back of the car look so much meaner. People think the back looks good and don't know why, and when I tell them it is painted black they realize that is what sets it apart.

i always say fkk no to the berger mod, and guess what....still saying fkk no to the berger mod it's the most tacky overdone thing to camaro's along with those two scratch marks on the driver side fenders...
