My question is how would i sand down my car what type of sand paper. And where would i find that primer gray color. I dont have the money to spend on a bad *** flame job so i am going for the rust bucket paint job. help guys paint job is pretty bad right now

yeah man primer gray
i d rather have it primer gray than the paint it has on right now not that their is much wrong with it but it had on a sticker on the rear quarter panel and now looks like ****

In order to get a good adhesion of the primer, you could use 320 automotive sandpaper, and sand the whole car and prime it. Make sure it is auto sandpaper, not wood sandpaper. Also, scuff in every crack and crevice or you will have your primer flaking off in no time.
Good luck, but I am still not sure any of us fully understand why you want to do this. I would rather have shiny paint than primer, but different strokes...

hey man dont get me wrong i also would love a bad *** paint job but for the mean time while i save up. flat black would also look nice man but it is like i would have to do a paint job and also clear coat it right

Sorry, but it does not make much sense to me, to do it twice. You can conserve money, and alot of time, just holding off and dealing with what is currently on the car, while you save up for a nice paint job. This is the smarter route, if you ask me.

i guess your right man but its my DD and trust me it looks pretty bad where that sticker use to be. How much do you think a good paint job will cost ive asked in many shops and they range from 2000 to 5000. That to me is a good set of heads nitrous or a better tranny but i guess ill wait man
