My car is getting painted a really bright orange so any of the blacks would look okay, Im just looking for the best. Im thinking semi or gloss at this point! Its getting done next monday, so I have a few more days to think about it and make a final decision.

[QUOTE='02TA] P. S. - For the trans am bumper 'a la ceta I recomend (if your doing it yourself) that you go down to the auto parts store and pick up a can of dupli-color bumper coating. It's good mid-way between flat and semi-gloss and really looks similar to the factory ceta finish. The paint is also formulated for a flexible finish which is good because the trans am rear bumper isn't exactly the sturdiest thing in the world and tends to move a bit.]

how did u do your bumper on you trans am, did u tape it all off? i really want to do it, any tips and pointers?

okay gloss black looks like *****...semi gloss looks great. I think semi is what gmmg uses on their cars. I want to do that mod but I dunno how it would look with the 30th anniversary package.

Those of you who painted it yourself with semi-gloss what were the steps you used?

I have a panel in my garage waiting to be painted and I do like the semi-gloss look but not sure what paint to get.
