What you guys are forgetting here is that the tail panel you're painting black is not unique to Berger Chevrolet. You're paying tribute to the Super Sport Camaros of '69 with the blacked out tail panel. That panel on the '69 was a
"semi" flat black, or should I say about 60% gloss (semi flat). Berger Chevrolet did nothing more than reinvent this ancient styling cue. Gloss black looks horrible and if you really want to see the styling accented right, go to www.gmmginc.net and look at the ZL1. Period.

Is this Gloss black?

If you want it the same color as the GMMG cars it is semi-gloss. The color is "Rally Black".

^bad!...like you had to get a part repaired on your car and you didnt have the money to get it painted right. do either a satin or semi gloss. although black camaros really, IMO, should not have the panel painted a different color...every mod is not for every car, or every car color

I agree 100%. Black/NBM cars should not mess with the panel in my opinion. I have seen black/nbm cars with a flat black panel, and it just looks like a temporary fix from a car accident.

I have also seen them with a silver/white panel, and it looks like they just picked up a panel from the junk yard and slapped it on there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the black tail panel start as a way for people to know they just got beat by a big block car? So technically unless there's a big block under the hood of your 4th gen then the berger doesn't really belong. That said....SEMI GLOSS FTW.

This actually looks alright on camaros. I absolutely find it disgusting when done on GTOs however
