Default can u paint rims?

theres really no one around me that does poudercoating and i wanted my tt2's from tomzwheels black would i be able to have them painted or do it myself without it comming off?

you can paint rims... but its much better to get them powdercoated because powdercoating is much more durable and resistant to heat, and chipping and scratching.... paint always runs a chance of imperfections... if u want them to look right id get them professionally done... shaker can products just dont give you enough shine and makes them look flat black which in turn makes them look dirty.... good luck... post pics when u do this!!!

if powdercoat is the only option, you might as well first try rattle canning them. if they eff up you can always powdercoat them, theyre gonna have to be media blasted anyway so it wont be any extra charge.

Not entirely true. Mine are rattle canned basecoat clearcoat and are constantly shiny. All depends on the product you use.

yea... some shaker can clears can give you a shine but i have yet to see a shaker can give you the shine that you can get with a eurathane base clear job....

i seen people use autootive paint/clear on rims as well. those shine good.
