Anybody have a metallic black paint job? I'd love to see some. I think I'm going to get a paint job in the later months of this year and was just wondering if anybody had any examples. Thanks

 

That is a pretty cool color, but to me, everytime I paint that color, it always looks dirty. Almost the same way it looks like when pollen is sitting on top of a black car.

On the other hand, I made my own color one time. Got the black paint and kept adding metallic until it looked right. I used silver pancake metallic, a silver mixing color.

 

Sounds sweet. I'm in the drying stage for painting those little panels that house the power window switches, only my car doesn't have power windows. I got all Duplicolor products. The adhesion promoter, high build primer, a metallic black color, and the clear. My 'bird is from the Flintstones era.

 

The new chargers have a metallic black but the flake is kept to a minimum. I think that's how it should be.
