Default Replacing rear quarter panel ?

I bought the car about 2 years ago form a one owner who said his wife backed into him in the driveway and dented the rear pass. quarter panel and reay bumper....Anyways, it was repaired but not that good, where the quarter meets up with the bumper and the taillight panel (berger panel), its still pushed in enough to where u can tell form the back.....They seemed to have used filler, just wondering is there a way to pull it out all the way without cracking the bondo....Just bugs the crap out of me , because other that that the car is super clean.....

Bottom of quarter is pushed in...

Here it is form another view so u can see it better...

Heres a rear view so u can compare the driver side and the pass. side to see what im talking about...

well... i doubt youll be able to fix that with out having to paint it... its really not that bad but it still wasnt fixed properly... IMO id deal with it having bought the car that way... but chances are if there is filler there its gonna crack if you try to straighten that anymore...looks like they didnt fit the parts before paint stages...sucky thing is that unless you want to go and basically start from scrach and grind all that filler out and try and pull the metal out more... all you can really do is skim coat it with more filler till it has the shape that you want... thats not the correct way to do it but its the easiest at this point for you.... good luck.... thats what im getting out if this at least... anyone else?

Im wanting to do a complete color change on the car in a few years, ill try to wait till then......Main qestion is , can it be fixed and look the way it was stock without having to put a whole new quarter on it, because that would seem like alot of extensive work, but i guess if thats what it would take to get it right, i would do it.

your best bet IMO would be to rip out your trunk plastic and pull the carpet back on that side and take out the spare... and see what it looks like... if its really really banged up and it looks like there is an inch of filler in there see if it can be straitened better.... go by this... you should only need 1/8 inch of filler on a job.... usually filler is just to smooth it out and get teh shape you want... i wouldnt replace it... thats a little extensive for what your problem is... plus to replace a 1/4 your probably looken at at least $2000 after parts labor paint... your most likely not a body guy or at least thats what im getting from it... i dont know if you know how much work it really is to put a 1/4 on... its not like hanging a fender... and again even OEM parts once in a while dont fit right so u might still be in a jam some way... my advice would be deal with it and get it straightened when you repaint...

Yeah i hear ya, i did pull the trunk plastic out and look....u can tell that it was banged out i think the best they could do, definently dont look like they used much filler....I could probably push it out some more, but your right, im not a body man and i dont want to crack it out, ill just wait till i get it repainted. Thanks for your help bro

It doesn't look that bad. I think you may open a can of worms by tryig to push it out any further. A little filler to get it to meet flush with the adjacent part won't be bad, you'll never know it is there when it's done.
