Default Hardener

I have some hardener for my clear that I have had for 6 months now, its half gone. I was getting ready to mix up some paint and saw that is said use within 14 days of opening. How important is this? its still sloshy and liquid, would it hurt to just use it anyway? Thanks

Pour it through a strainer into a clean glass or cup, and see if there's any crystals of hardened clear in it. Hardener starts to crystalize when it goes bad.

As stated in earlier post, check it out for crystals. I used some ppg hardener last week that has been open for at least a year and it worked fine with no problems.
