I have parts all thru my house, my wife is so ready for it to be back together. It's been apart since about feb. or march. Now that all the paint and time consuming things are done, well got a few more but when they are done it should only take a week or two depending on how long it takes the dealer to get a few things in that I have to replace.

wow.. sounds cool.. wish i had the money, lift and time to do that. you do the painting yourself with a spray gun? i sprayed undercoating underneath my car years ago. my car never gets driven as it is so i dunno why i did that exactly. but would love to remove it somehow and paint the whole underneath of the car. engine, tranny and pretty much everything else is sitting in the garage since my motor went boosting it. only thing hanging on is from the cat back of my exhaust.
i guess i could use my floor jacks, have my buddies dad hook me up with some PPG paint since he owns a garage. buy a paint gun and a small compressor and scrape everything off the bottom and spray away. taking the suspension all off would be a pain in the ***.

The black is POR-15 and is brushed on. It is self leveling and kinda looks like powdercoat if you take your time with it.

my engine bay came out pretty good. i used a spray can from a company that sells GM paints. its a one stage paint with clear already added. my engine bay was in great shape and never dirty so i just sanded it alittle and then painted. i put to many coats of paint though and wish i would have been more patient.. yours looks really good. i would like to post a picture of mine but i suck at posting pics.. i don't think i can remove the undercoating from underneath or inside the wheel wells so i think i'm stuck anyhow..

here's a few pics from one of the many upgrades to our thirdgen.
Went from Street and Performance chrome TPI with flamed engine bay to no flames and an LS1 (an LT1 was there inbetween these pics too) LOL
