Using lace as a pattern is a time tested trick for a really cool paint effect, especially when done with a metallic. It has to be seen up close to be appreciated and it's really not "flowery" looking at all. Very cool.

Parbreak is correct. Not to mention the fact that a lace pattern is perfect for me since I am a girl.
Also, the guy that painted it for me, says he can paint the manifold or fuel rail covers any way anyone wants and can get them shipped to him and ship back out to people if anyone is interested.
