tck easy fix bud. I did the t/a alone by myself without any help and im 17. I only got gramps to show me how to use the welder so I could do all the welds myself. It took me a few eyars of watching and helping on cavilier and **** but i moved on up to f-bodies in 04 when i got my camaro. i took a 1/4 pannel that looks like an accordian and pulled it all out, I guess im just skilled with body work

but it will come together dont worry to much about it. my best advice to you is be very precise, always measure everything 4 or 5 times and do what needs to be done. I got my trans am body back to on the spot factory dimensions, its probably straaighter and stronger than factory anyhow. Not only did i do the pinch welds on my rails but did welds all under it and covered them up with undercoating

It looks great tainted, man, you cant even tell it was smashed.

Mine took a guardrail into the drivers headlight, i've removed and trashed the broken crap and stored the reusable stuff till its repaired.

I am just starting to get parts rounded up now, but its being a pain to find all the stuff I need.

I want to do most of it myself but the main problem is the drivers frame horn got mangled up nd I need to find a new section to have arounda foot long piece spliced on, and the radiator support is a bit tweaked. And I can't do this myself, so it's gotta go to someone.

hmm ok, my next best advice, laser frame machine shop that knows what they are doing. that frame rail, id go to a junkyard and fine a v6 or whatevers out there and use it. its the same **** for 93-02 so v6 or v8 93-02 will work, the radiator support can be bent back, it doesnt need to be replaced, the frame rail end will ahve tob e pulled out some though, i guarentee you everything is back just a little bit. If you want, get a tape measure and I can give you the dimensions for it tomorrow, from every possible point you can think of with a diagram

Well the gu I am talking to about repairing the frame end came out to make an estimate and he measured and checked all kinds of crap out. I guess it's not to bd off actually, i'm just trying to round up and do as much as possible myself, includng finding a fbody I can cut out the frame horn, I have a lead with a local yard that may have 2 sitting around I can pick over, everyone else is dead out of frame ends lol. Tody I got fog lights from another yard and just a bit ago ebayed a drives fender, bumper support and absorber. Tommrow payment goes out for a passenger airbag and module.

The toughest parts to get I need are gonna be a bumper cover and drivers headlight, for sure.

Hey I read it, but he does not list what I need for sale in those pics? What was your message bout? I must have read it wrong lol, pardon my ignorance.

On the plus side I have a ton of the parts I need on the way to me now, I just got the entire airbag system ordered for 130 bucks!

Too bad I already sent payment for half the system to another guy for 170 shipped earlier, I guess i'm gonna have an extra pass. bag and module to sell soon lol.

i was so sick to my stomach when i crashed i couldnt even take a picture. it was rear passenger 1/4 panel that took the real beating, but the thing was PRISTINE when i bought it. Wasnt that much damage really, and it didnt take that long to fix.. place called Treu (not mispelled) body works did an amazing job, but still makes me sick to my stomach.
